- A commercial (black-plate) vehiclePassenger rides in Nepal must be on a commercial black-plate bike or car — a private red-plate vehicle cannot be used.
- A valid driving licenceA current licence for your vehicle type, held for the minimum required period.
- Vehicle documents & insuranceUp-to-date bluebook, fitness and pollution documents, plus a valid commercial insurance policy for the vehicle.
- Your PAN and IDA PAN and identity details so earnings and taxes are handled correctly.
- An Android smartphoneTo run the RoadSewa Driver app, receive trips and share your live location.

What kind of vehicle do I need to drive with RoadSewa?
You need a commercial (black-plate) bike or car with valid documents and commercial insurance. Private red-plate vehicles cannot legally carry paying passengers in Nepal.
How much will I earn?
Earnings depend on how much you drive, your trips and fuel costs, so we do not publish a guaranteed figure. What we do promise is transparency: the app shows your exact earnings on every trip and your money is tracked on an auditable ledger.

Our team reviews every driver’s licence, vehicle papers and insurance against the required compliance checks. Documents are never auto-approved, which keeps passengers safer and every driver on the platform verified.
How do I get paid?
On cash trips you collect the fare directly from the passenger, and the platform’s share is tracked and settled on a clear ledger so you always know where you stand.
