The record attempt was organized by Hyundai Motor India Limited and executed by a professional team from Evo India. Starting at 5,799 meters above sea level, at India's highest drivable point-the Umling La in Leh Ladakh, up to finishing in Kuttanad, Kerala, that is three meters below sea level, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 achieved a total altitude gain of 5,802 meters approximately 19,029 feet.

This feat of endurance was covered in 14 days for a distance of over 4,900 km, negotiating treacherous terrain and extreme climatic conditions, from freezing temperatures and steep Himalayan mountain passes to humid coastal regions in Kerala. In this expedition, Ioniq 5 showcased resilience, advanced technology, and superior performance.
