Ltd., the official distributor of Royal Enfield motorcycles in Nepal, is all set to introduce the eagerly awaited Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 in Nepal. The company has announced that the bike will make its initial appearance at NADA 2024, with its official launch and subsequent deliveries to follow shortly after that. The Himalayan 450 is no exception, embodying the spirit of adventure with its robust build and powerful performance.
The new Himalayan features a completely redesigned steel twin-spar frame, using the engine as a stressed member, and includes a twin-sided swingarm. The suspension, sourced from Showa, includes a 43mm upside-down fork and a mono-shock, both offering 200mm of wheel travel. The braking system features a 320mm front disc with a double-piston caliper and a 270mm rear disc with a single-piston caliper, both equipped with switchable dual-channel ABS. It offers two riding modes: Eco and Performance.
The Himalayan 450 is equipped with brand-new tyres on wire-spoked wheels, with a front size of 90/90 R21 and a rear size of 140/80 R17. It features a ground clearance of 230mm, a kerb weight of 196kg, and a 17-liter fuel tank. The standard seat height is 825mm, which can be extended to 845mm, and there's a low seat option that lowers it to 805mm. The expected mileage is approximately 35 km per litre.
