Fuel and pollution
Different fuels pollute differently. Among common vehicle fuels PETROL causes more pollution than the alternatives, and among engine types the TWO-STROKE pollutes more than the four-stroke because it burns oil along with its fuel.
Electric vehicles produce no exhaust emissions at the point of use, which is why they are the environment-friendly option among the choices offered.
How you drive changes fuel use as much as what you burn. Steady speeds, correct tyre pressures, no unnecessary load and switching off rather than idling all cut consumption - and every litre not burned is pollution not produced.
