Environmental responsibility
The driver decides most of a vehicle's environmental impact: how it is maintained, how it is driven and whether faults get fixed.
Practical steps that work: service on schedule, keep tyres inflated, switch the engine off when waiting rather than idling, avoid harsh acceleration, do not overload, and keep the pollution certificate current.
Do not dump used oil, filters or batteries. Used engine oil poisons water, and a vehicle battery is hazardous waste - both go back to a garage that collects them.
Planting trees and choosing electric or public transport where you can are the wider version of the same responsibility.
